The 3rd China (Macao) High-quality Consumption Exhibition & Hengqin Global Bay Areas Forum is being held from September 25 to 29.
"The next step for China's economy is to promote high-quality development, including high-quality consumption, creating a new cycle." Liu Shijin, the former Deputy Director of Development Research Center of the State Council provided his thoughtful ideas on high-quality development at the forum.
Liu Shijin pointed out that promoting high-quality development includes expanding developmental consumption, upgrading human capital, and promoting industrial transformation and upgrading dominated by high-tech and high added value.
He emphasized that the Greater Bay Area should take the lead in the progress of high-quality development since it owns a series of advantages in urbanization, industrial support and development, technological progress, human capital and so on.
